Outer Banks Hotel
The Days Inn & Suites Mariner is an Outer Banks hotel found in Kill Devil Hills between Kitty Hawk and Nags Head. Our Outer Banks hotel is located 1 mile north of the Wright Brothers Memorial. On the oceanfront side of the road you will find rooms as well as 1 or 2 bedroom suites with full kitchens. In the Mariner II building you will find rooms as well as 1 bedroom suites with full kitchens.
Our entire hotel has smoke free rooms & suites which feature: microwave/refrigerator, coffeemaker, iron/board, hair dryer, free wireless internet, and free local calls. We have rooms with double, queen, or king beds. We also have 2 bedroom suites where the bedrooms are separated from each other-these can sleep from 4 to 8 people for our larger sized suites. Our 2 bedroom suites are a popular room type for many returning guests.
Guests will enjoy our expanded continental breakfast in our roomy breakfast area. Our continental breakfast has many offerings such as: waffles, hot & cold cereals, yogurt, bagels, fruit, pastries, and more. Enjoy an afternoon refreshment daily from 4-6 pm year round.
Many guests enjoy our oceanfront pool (open seasonally) and our gazebo which overlooks the ocean. We also have a dunetop deck that guests may enjoy. The Mariner is also a Y Hotel which means that our guests may enjoy complimentary passes to our local YMCA on a first-come, first-serve basis. For our guest’s convenience, we also have a computer located in the lobby which may be used when you must reach the outside world.
The staff at the Days Inn and Suites Mariner will be doing everything in our power to make sure that our guests, as well as our staff, stay safe during this time period. Because of this, things you may have experienced during a stay with us before may be different if you stay with us now - for the interim. We will be adhering to all CDC recommendations on cleaning/housekeeping to keep our guests as safe as possible. We will try to meet our check in time of 4 pm, but ask that guests please understand that with the stringent cleaning protocols our staff will be following, some check in times may run a little past that - we thank you in advance for your understanding.
Breakfast and Afternoon Refreshments
Instead of eliminating our breakfast service - we are happy to provide a "Grab and Go" bagged breakfast for our guests. This will be available to our guests during our normal breakfast hours. Unfortunately for everyone's safety, we will be halting our afternoon refreshments for the foreseeable future.
Guest Check In
For the safety of our guests and for our staff, we will ask that only 1 member of the party check in at the front desk. Please note we will require the person checking in to wear a face covering (mask, scarf, etc.). Also just to inform our guests, though masks/face coverings are not required right now in our state/county, the state is highly recommending this and some businesses in our area do require customers to have them own when shopping.
For the safety of our guests and our staff, all guests' rooms are stocked with towels, toiletries and coffee service prior to your check in. Daily housekeeping service will be halted for the interim; should guests require additional items during their stay, they may contact the front desk and obtain requested items from the front desk staff.
